25th Anniversary Modern Eagle III
Paul Reed Smith's Modern Eagle line was created to take advantage of innovations brought about in the course of creating guitars for the Private Stock custom line. The 25th Anniversary Modern Eagle III line of guitars represents the premium-quality branch of the Modern Eagle family of instruments, which use only top-quality woods and hardware.
The tops are carved of carved figured maple with the backs of mahogany. The neck and fretboard are of select dalbergia, with the neck using the 'wide and fat' design. The fingerboard is inlaid with 25th-anniversary 'shadow birds' with the head stock inlaid with an eagle; the truss rod reads 'MEIII.' The three pickups are 57/08 Narrowfields.
